Private Life Skills Packages
For Puppies and Adults
Build better behavior with a custom package based on your training goals. This package is available for basic training needs like excitement when guests arrive, leash-walking skills, counter-surfing, house training and other unwanted behaviors. This package is perfect for friendly, social dogs who need a little help learning what behaviors are desirable in the home and out in public. The package includes a goal setting session, 4 training sessions in your home or at our place as appropriate, and weekly check-ins via zoom or phone to assess progress and troubleshoot problems as they arise. $500 within 10 miles of our location. Additional fee may apply outside of our service area.
Behavior Challenges
Beautiful Day Dogs believes in addressing unwanted behaviors like fear, aggression, reactivity, separation anxiety, excessive jumping and mouthing, resource guarding and other behaviors with kindness and compassion. Identifying the motivation for the behaviors, changing how you respond to your dog's unwanted behaviors, and building a culture of trust, safety, and sound management while you and you and your dog are in training is crucial to replacing unwanted behaviors with more desirable behaviors.
We find starting with a 3 month commitment of 2 sessions per month is essential to begin the process.The 3 month package includes 6 training sessions at our place, yours, or in public settings as appropriate, 1 behavior assessment and goal setting session, and weekly zoom or phone check-ins to assess progress and make changes as needed. $900

Virtual Training in your home
Train your dog in the comfort of your home with virtual training via Zoom. Each session targets specific goals from basic manners to house training, excitement at the door, and more. Perfect for dogs who get overly excited or uncomfortable with guests in their space, this low-cost option offers personalized guidance without the stress or cost of in-home visits. You'll receive a tailored, manageable homework plan with 1-2 steps to reinforce progress, making training convenient for busy families.
4 session package: $300
Virtual training may be appropriate for behavior challenges. In some cases there may be an additional fee and session commitment depending on your training goals. Sign up for a Zoom consultation to see if virtual training is the right fit for you.
Behavior Boosters Mini-Package
30 Minute Sessions
These short sessions are perfect for teaching basic skills like Stay or Recall, or learning how to change or prevent common unwanted behaviors like counter-surfing. Each session includes one training exercise and a simple homework plan that is perfect for busy families.

Premium Private programs for Puppies and Adult Dogs
Puppy Training
The Beautiful Days Dogs puppy training program uses positive reinforcement training methods to teach basic manners and socialization skills to new puppies. The program includes enrichment activities, games, and fun tricks to build confidence and strengthen the bond between you and your puppy. Available to puppies 8 weeks or older.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class
For puppies 8 weeks or older at the start of class.
STAR stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and a Responsible Owner. The STAR puppy program is designed to educate human family members while providing quality social experiences and age appropriate training and confidence building activities for the pups. This class is a great intro to prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Program. The STAR Puppy Evaluation is available on the last day of class.

Good Dog Manners
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class
For adolescents and adults 16 weeks and older at start of class. AKC Canine Good Citizen Program
For adolescents and adults who have completed the Good Dog Manners Course or the STAR puppy course.
Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners.
Beautiful Day Dogs believes that your bond and relationship is more important than passing an evaluation. We also find the goals of the AKC Canine Good Citizen Program to be valuable. This program provides a firm foundation to put basic training skills into an everyday context.
6 Session Class at our place includes evaluation: $225

AKC Canine Good Citizen Program
For adolescents and adults who have passed the CGC evaluation and have registered the title with the AKC.
The AKC Community Canine Program is a natural extension of the Canine Good Citizen Program. In this course, skills learned in the CGC are generalized and strengthened in public community settings.

Tricks Classes

Tricks Classes
For adolescents and adults 4 months and older.
Tricks are great for mental stimulation, exercise, and are confidence builders for people and their dogs. You'll learn as much about training in a tricks class as you will in a manners course, and have lots of fun with your dog!
Participants can choose to take an AKC Tricks Title evaluation at the end of the class. 6 session class at our place: $200
